Building data driven mobile apps with PhoneGap and WebApi – Raleigh Code Camp

This weekend I had the distinct privilege of speaking at Raleigh Code Camp.  This was a great day of technical sessions, meeting new people from the local .NET development community, and presenting.  I want to thank all the planners and volunteers from TriNUG who put on an awesome day.

Here is a video of my presentation about using PhoneGap and Asp.Net WebApi to build data-driven mobile apps.

    Hello Derek,

I have recently started developing a mobile cross-platform HTML5 app with the help of PhoneGap.
While doing this I stumbled across many problems ie CORS (being unable to obtain data from a Web API on a different domain) which resulted in me taking too much time to fix these issues that it actually gets pulled next week if I don’t come up with a solution by the end of the week.
This presentation specifically targets data-driven apps with the use of Web API which is 100% the tutorial I’ve been looking for for weeks. Unfortunately the quality of the video is very low which makes reading your code samples really really difficult.
That’s why I wanted to ask you if you could please provide us a video with a higher resolution quality such as 720p or 1080p (youtube or downloadable file).
I’m sure I won’t be the only one who would really appreciate it!

Hello Mr. Derek, i saw your tutorial on the youtube and its quite interesting. The only problem that i am facing is that I am not familiar with ASP .NET web API. I am using dreamweaver instead. So please let me know does it actually matter what API i use.

    Hi Derek,

I found your presentation video very informative. The video was bit blur and so was not able to read the text easily.

Is this code available somewhere for download?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks
    Pranjal R Nigam
